STORM IN A TEA CUP ?

So the cogs of the Tunaville rumour machine once more begin to rotate as accusations fly throughout our close knit community.

Fuelled by a sense of foreboding not too dissimilar to the storm that our very own Donny 'The Don' Donaldson predicted in good faith the night before last, those Tunaville residents guilty of 'jumping the gun' are now looking to lay the blame of their own misfortunes at someone else's door.

This particular organ shall not be party to fuelling any such wild furore based on newly found riches. Our unequivacable support goes out to Neil Donaldson. He is a fine upstanding member of this parish whose wealth and generosity has always been familiar to those who read this very journal, particularly evident by the amount of advertising space bought by Donaldsons Hardware on a regular basis.

Let it lie, we say !

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

The uproar at last weeks council meeting was evidence enough that the phenomenon of "insufficient faculty control' is on the increase within our community.

Undoubtedly the intentions of one of our more robust shopkeepers were good at heart but this kind of behaviour just cannot be tolerated any longer if we are to maintain the standards of lifestyle that Tunavillians have become accustomed to.

Something must be done before it's too late !
