Villian turned Hero ?No sooner than being dismissed from her post at the National Bank of Tunaville, Mrs. Ida Miggins became the toast of the town, scuppering the exploits of one of the towns more undesirable individuals. Subsequently the Gazette poses the question everyone else seems to be asking. Was our local banker not a little premature in disposing of the services of one so loyal ? We wonder !

Whose lights are they anyway ?So general consensus prevails and the traffic lights at the junction of the High St and Pattens Hill have been disabled (at least for the time being). It certainly makes you wonder on whose authority they were installed in the first place. Who put up the funding ? Who has ultimately had to back down ? All questions we at the Gazette would like an answer to.

Up for the Cup ?No one was more pleased than the Gazette to see the return to Tunaville of Skuttler, quite possibly the greatest export the community has produced in the last 25 years. They deserve an enormous amount of credit for breaking into their current world tour to treat the residents of Tunaville to such a sumptious event, right on our own doorstep. But was it really necessary to schedule the event just days before a crucial FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round Cup tie on which Tunaville Rovers have ultimately pinned their hopes for the rest of the season and then subsequently have the game postponed disappointing hundreds of loyal supporters? Much as we love Skuttler, next week they'll be on a Lear Jet speeding to their next glamorous location whilst T.R.F.C's 11 hearty and true players will slogging their hearts out. Let's not forget that !
