What a Result No one in our small community can truly say that back last August they envisaged in their wildest dreams that a team about to embark on a season of mid table mediocrity in the middletosmalltown conference league would possible have it in them to reach the heady heights of Wembley the following May. But sure enough, that's what's happened and on May 20th at 3:00pm our lads will stride onto the hallowed turf to face the might of Capital United in what should be the biggest David Vs. Goliath encounter ever to grace the soon to be demolished Twin Towers. The Gazette is proud to be associated with our local team and we are sure we join every other resident of Tunaville in wishing our squad of gallant warriors every success in what will undoubtedly be their finest footballing hour and a half, win or lose.

Two Horse Race? With there only being another six weeks to go before any potential candidates for the position of mayor of Tunaville need to throw their hat into the ring, the gazette asks the poignant question 'do the current candidates have what it takes?' Already questions are being asked about the credibility of former KUNZ employee, Andrew Walsh with regard to the quality of his previous work and there. On the contrary, there seem to be no information good, bad or otherwise with regard to Mrs. Julie Dodd's ability to perform at the post. Do we need a third alternative to these two supposedly quality candidates or do we already have all sides of the political spectrum covered?

Ooops Pardon The Editor of the gazette would like to apologise for the 'potential' non-appearance of some submitted articles, reports, letters etc. etc. It would appear that Mrs. Miggins left the back door of gazette towers open a couple of nights ago and we think someone might have been in and nicked a couple of sheets of A4 to wrap their chips in. I you feel you may have submitted an article that has subsequently gone astray, please contact the Editor.
