Fashion once again is the watch word in Tunaville with this week the 'velvet clog' being worn in prominence. MuckSpreader has it on very good authority indeed that sporting a pair of these hip accessories along with a pair of designer sweatpants, you can't fail to miss with the guys, girls or whatever else takes your fancy. An hastily arranged performance by the Tunaville Players at the Town Hall last Friday evening performing a lesser known farce, "OY! There go my Trousers!" made a pleasant change for many a punter looking for an alternative to the usual Rose and Crown scene. However it would appear that the real star of the show was the Rev. Steve Mullins who's impromptu ad-libs throughout the play bought the audience to its knees on more than number of occasions. MuckSpreader just wished that his sermons on a Sunday were half as witty.
